From the outside, fast growth looks like luck or momentum. From the inside, the XFusion founders describe something more deliberate.
In their interview with WhatsWhat Prime, Stanis Zichler and Zeljko Cikojevic explained how XFusion grew in its first year, and their answer had little to do with marketing.
01 It started with
a few key people
“We started with a couple of people, with key people,” Stanis says. “They are very strong.”
Those first leaders mattered more than any campaign. Each of them built a team, and those teams built their own. Stanis calls it “big duplication”. The first people in any organisation set the culture and standards that everyone after them will copy, so choosing them carefully is the most important growth decision a founder makes.
02 Ten years of experience
behind one fast year
XFusion’s first year was quick, but its founders were not beginners. They have worked in the industry for around ten years. “We know the field,” Zeljko says, with business connections “not only in the UAE but also in other countries all around the globe”.
Growth that looks sudden is often the visible result of years of preparation. Existing relationships gave XFusion trust from the start.
03 Stop chasing,
start attracting
The founders’ most distinctive idea is about how they find people. “Usually you are always searching outside for the right people,” Zeljko explains. When they stopped chasing and focused on their own alignment, “it turns the other way around. We are in the middle, and everything aligns.”
He insists this is practical, not abstract: “We can really see how people are aligning to us and coming with us to the next level.” Stanis says the same: “The right people come to us.” He has felt this especially over the last six to eight months.

04 Give people
a reason to stay
Attracting people is only half of growth. The other half is keeping them. In the founders’ view, people stay because they receive real value: education, relationships, ideas and opportunities. Contributing to the community, Zeljko says, is also contributing to yourself, your family and your business.
05 Culture as the
growth strategy
Authenticity, trust and a shared sense of direction are, for XFusion, not soft extras. They are what attract the right people and quietly filter out the wrong ones. Culture, in this model, is the growth strategy.

How XFusion grew:
the short version
Two founders with a decade of experience and a nine-year friendship started with a few strong key people. Those people built teams, and those teams built more teams. Education gave members a reason to stay, events turned contacts into relationships, and a culture of authenticity attracted people who fitted.
That is how XFusion grew from an idea into an international community in a single year, according to the people who built it. XFusion marked that milestone with its first anniversary in Dubai on 24 October 2026, and now enters year two under a new motto: WE ARE THE CHANGE.
